Journal #7: More News on Short Stories

I've added a new rating system to each story I post at the Short Story Page, so I do hope that those who love the written word would visit that page and give your ratings to some of your favourite tales or new tales you might enjoy. I do enjoy curating the stories on my own but it's also nice to get a sense of what the audience think themselves of the stories. My opinions are not the gospel.

Additionally, I have added some illustrations to one of my stories, The Bluebeard Emperor. It might be a cheap way to promote some of my own stories, of course I can't resist, but if I can write and draw, why not do both and see how that works? I'm generally not a fan of illustrating scenes from stories, but I hope that the way I do them still leaves enough for the imagination, and still did it in a way that enhances and not take away from the reading experience. If there's another incentive to re-read the story for those who already have, I've made some major additions to Chapter 2 as I felt I was lacking a bit of patience especially during the more graphic scenes. For a preview, I've added a couple of images already over there (see below) so head on to the story archive. I will be adding a couple more as part of the update and these will be more graphic ;).
