Journal #5: Ideas for the Future

With the way I work, for better or for worse, I generally start a lot of projects concurrently. Perhaps it's good to enlighten fellow members of the Gourmet Club to what's going on behind the scenes. Here are some of them still regarded as works-in-progress:

1. A re-release of the older stories such as "Hunter, Hunted" & "My Story" perhaps with touch-ups time willing for the newer fans who haven't been introduced to one of my earliest stories I'd done.
2. The completion of Aurael & Mandora is already underway as I've completed one page so far, and more to come. (see preview image)
3. A published issue of "Tales of the Vanished" featuring older pages rotated out with some semblance of a story series with at least 2 or 3 sequential pages along.
4. More complete illustrations of stories in the Library section such as "Butchering the Human Carcass" or other select stories. Perhaps I could put that out to a vote.
5. The release of "Butchering the Vanquished" completed comic series.
6. A new series in the vein of "Carne Asada" & "Butchering the Vanquished", one titled "Lua Mater" featuring a pagan ritual observed by the Circle, where the society pits one female fighter over another, where the loser becomes dinner for the attendees. (see preview image)
7. Forbidden Feast Archives #7: Superheroines & Others. Quite self explanatory.
8. I'm also playing with the idea of using illustrated posts as a means to tell the story of the Tales of the Vanished, instead of the complete comic page with text bubbles which you've seen so far. It'll be easier for non-English speakers to translate while also saving some time for me to tell this deeper story of myriad of characters as drawing up the comic book style pages is a little time-consuming. Perhaps I could experiment with this approach for an update or two. We'll see.

These are some of what I've planned on the near horizon, along with the usual Tales of the Vanished comic pages updates, and the odd drawing here and there as usual. Being active socially on the forums, deviantart and tumblr seems to take up quite a bit of time for me too so there's that. The travails of being a one-man army... woe is me! But enough of my sob story, it's the stories and artwork you want, as long as I'm able, I'll try to provide. As with my usual sign off, bon appétit and thanks for supporting the site!
