279: Hidden Hearts

February 14th. Happy Valentine's Day!
There are some mainstream holidays, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine's Day that embody the spirit of Forbidden Feasts. We celebrate another such day today. Then there are hidden holidays celebrated by Pagans, Satanists, the Mayan and Aztecs, the ancients and mystics that harbor... such as Quecholli, Candelmas or Saturnalia... hidden delights which could have their time of day in this space as time and effort permits. Longstanding patrons will be familiar with some of these holidays as some of my stories here has hinted at their existence within the world of Forbidden Feasts and if you remain, the stories of dark dining will reveal these ritualistic delights.

Now, for the keen eyed, are you able to see the shapes within the image? This update features a playful experiment, if you're able to tell, reverting back to my roots of drawing mostly without reference. The style looks different from the more realistic approach I tend to do. I think of it as going back to my roots, of pure drawing from the imagination.

This heart isn't hard to find.
II. HIDDEN HEARTS (4 colored artworks for DISCIPLE members or higher only)
These are drawn mostly from the imagination. You can tell that the style is a little different here, not as polished, but perhaps the style may reach a certain appeal for some.
The first is of the lady as a whole presented to the man who obsessed over her.
She may have not loved him in return, hence this extreme measure to possess her so completely. The Circle Elite provides... as a gift for his continued service, and possible fuel for blackmail.
The following are the sum of her parts arranged for the man who loved her. The first, being a pair of the Slender Harvest. The second, of the rear of her Cradle Cut, and the third, of the Cradle Cut, front and center.
It is after this update that I realize that I may have missed an opportunity to include the forequarters to have this become a complete set, and I do have an idea for this. However, instead of missing out on the occasion after it passes, I rather post what I have done here and do one for next year's February 14th.
III. SKETCHES (3 sketch variations of one scene)
The remaining are sketches of future ideas.
The first, being the preparation of the depilated girl. The second, of the offering of the Serpent Altar featured as one of the "Paraphernalia of Dubious Purposes" and the third, a girl laid out and presented on a bed of flowers and greens which could possibly be revived for a future Hidden-Heart-Themed update for next year.
