Dear Patrons,

July comes and things are hot, fresh from the 4th of July and it seems that everything is happening in this part of the world. This update is no different as we revisit the story, the PAINTED BIRD IN LOST CARCOSA, featuring more artworks from the red-white-and-blue-blooded gal who falls prey to the Cannibals of the Old World, in Carte du Jour #294. Not to mention, we also have another victim for the Hall of Fame, now in full complete splendor along with the trophy jamon.

We will be story-absent today as I’m a little spent on that end, but we have artworks to flesh out multiple story threads in this update and a promise to have more stories coming soon.

Bon appétit!

The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this production are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased), places, buildings, and products is intended or should be inferred.

I. PAINTED BIRD IN LOST CARCOSA

This piece of meat looks too recognizable. Especially with the tattoo.

Image 1: (1 complete artwork in color)

The full artwork of the same piece of meat belonging to the Painted Bird being handled by a butcher of the old world as he slides the thigh into a netting, reminiscent of a fishnet stocking. Sexy.

Image 2: (1 complete artwork and an expansion of the previous artwork)

The following are variations of the previous artwork.

Image 3-5: (3 shaded works in progress of a similar scene)

And to remind ourselves of our Painted Bird as a whole bird, here she is, violated after succumbing to the hunt.

Image 6: (1 black & white inked work in progress)

I had experimented on these various scenes before settling on one. I thought the curious might like to see these works in progress.

II. HALL OF FAME

The Museo’s Hall of Fame has yet another famous trophy. One of the establishment’s prized ornaments and oozing elegance.

The following are the trophy bust isolated and another work in progress of the aforementioned piece.

III. DOOMED RAIDER (works in progress)

The unfortunate adventuress finds herself in the same fate as a fabled Aztec Goddess, as depicted on the Stone of Coyolxauhui.

IV. BONUS WORKS IN PROGRESS

The first is a concept scene from the OCCULTI VATICANI: CLAUSE CUM CLAVE series and the second and third are from the story, CALIPHATE, featuring our secret agent receiving her mission from her contact while in the British Museum, and a close-up of her portrait.
