Dear Patrons,
The past month has been really rough. It was probably one of the worst periods creatively, with a combination of the lack of privacy, real life issues and world matters that made it so tough to post updates even though I had kept trying to be optimistic and made promises to post an update. Sometimes it creeps up on me, and perhaps, it would have been better to just take a break for the whole month to recharge. But that period has passed and I’m happy to report that I’m past that hump. I’m sorry to you patrons, I will understand if any patron decides to take a pause until you see that I have caught up. For that, there will be a moratorium on me unsubscribing patrons from the mailing list with lapsed memberships until I catch up. But if you choose to continue your membership, my eternal gratitude goes to you and I’ve already seen many who have continued despite my rough September. To many of these patrons, I’m touched at your continued patronage and I thank you all.

I. PAINTED BIRD IN LOST CARCOSA
Here’s one that I’ve done and I’m still ultimately not satisfied with how I’ve illustrated some elements here, perhaps leaving some room for improvement. I’ve even went back and tried a do-over and still it looks like I could have done a better job. The break has rendered me a little rusty it seems but who knows, I may just be overthinking things. So I might as well shared a whole load of these variations.

II. MERMAID

III. AGONY OF DEFEAT
This is one of the PROJECTS I’m working on and expanding this piece with a fully developed background. Usually, expanding on a scene especially with its background is very time consuming. It’s one of those rare moments where I’ve considered enlisting the aid of AI, but no, I must remain steadfast and pure for as long as I can!
First, here’s the main element…
