Dear Patrons,
What an eventful past two weeks it has been, wasn't it? I have to admit, I had not been immune to the state of current events, and I apologize if this update has been coming a little late since then. In any case, we can consider the state of affairs behind us now, and I should be able to return to my cozy little fireplace to write and draw to your hearts desires.
I had spent a bit of time earlier this month to try to make this a story-driven update, but I had to go back to the drawing board as I realize I was forcing it a little too hard. Storytelling is a delicate matter. And having read the hollow piece I'd started out with, I've realized that my stories have been getting away from me, enough that I realized I have had to re-immerse myself into the stories I had written before. That's the curse of the stream-of-consciousness approach to writing, sometimes I've even forgotten I'd written them at all. Who was this stranger who had come up with all these stories?!
So, I hope you may forgive me in both my tardiness, and that this was not the story-driven tale I'd wanted it to be. I didn't want to make anyone wait any longer.
As Thanksgiving looms, I hope to put this one out now, and hope to put out another update before that special day. Bon appétit!

I. HUMILIATION OF THE PAINTED BIRD.
Image 1 (1 complete colored work): Part of the pleasure is in the humiliation of the proud prey. The complete colored scene of the Continental Hunter enjoying himself with the proud American woman who loved her liberty.
Images 2-3 (1 complete colored work & 1 work-in-progress of a similar scene): The Painted Bird, gutted and observed gleefully by her audience.
Image 4-5 (2 sketches): More scenes planned for the Painted Bird in Lost Carcosa storyline.
II. HALL OF FAME
Image 6-10 (1 complete colored artwork & 4 variations sketches of a similar scene in black & white):
A new member of the "Hall of Fame" wing in the MUSEO DELLA GYNOPHAGIA. A rather lithe and slight young singer, taken during her prime before her look had changed drastically, perhaps... replaced by an impostor? The original... trophied and devoured?
Image 11-12 (1 sketch + 1 work in progress): What a "wonderful Gal" this one is. As a famous celebrity, she is taken as a trophy and memorialized as one of her most famous roles. We've seen her before as prey of the "Connoisseur" in one of my oldest artworks, but that was more fan art while this one takes place in the more grounded and realistic setting of the Forbidden Feast Tales of the Vanished universe. I may soon illustrate more "items" to accompany this trophy.
Image 11-12 (1 color artwork + 1 work in progress): An extra pair of scenes from the "Taylor Cuts" celebrity story thread, alive and shocked before her final fate. And one more alternate presentation of the "Half-Tailleur" Cut.
III. BONUS SKETCHES
Image 13 (1 black & white sketch): Another scene of the Half Tailleur Cut along with the Crown on display.
Image 14 (1 colored work in progress): An extra scene I had illustrated and left on the drawing board, taken from the W.I.T.C.H. project.
Image 15 (1 black & white sketch): A bonus sketch for Thanksgiving, based on a very famous painting.

All of the art is very, very good. The hunting works are truly exceptional. The two trophies are also some of your best. The women are stunning. My hope is that you will illustrate those beautiful faces in future works, as they were before being captured, stripped and slaughtered. A well dressed carcass is most intriguing when juxtapositioned with her living image.

I like image 4, because I like the idea of that happening to my carcass.
I like image 6, because of that bust, I think it’s really nice an elegant.
Same for 11-12, I do like the idea of busts like that, coming back to how I wish we could preserve perfectly. Image 14, because that’s one of my favourite cuts, and wishing it was my carcass (as with all of them really).
And the last sketch, because being all trussed up like a turkey.. ❤️
