Dear Patrons,
I’m changing things up again. I’ve been trying to find a way to streamline the way I post updates. I am still hard at work drawing and writing in the background as I truly needed the time and space away from the noise, but balancing the business and social side to post updates, manage members, posting news announcement across multiple platforms has been wearing me down for a while for each update, leaving me nothing left for the creative stuff. Which is why I’m reviving the JOURNALS. This way, it eases the pressure of updates so I can focus more time on drawing/writing while DISCIPLE members and higher won’t have to wait too long for content and see what works I’ve been up to.
JOURNALS will not be sent via email but instead are viewable to DISCIPLE members and higher who are logged in. It will be lighter and more nimble, include the introductory non-story related back end stuff, news, updates, additions to the world which usually precede the artworks, including updates to the lore of the Forbidden Feast Universe such as additions in the INDEX page, and some sharing of sketches and works in progress.
Since I’ve had problems in the past maintaining my presence on other social platforms (and it’s getting worse when these companies are using AI to scrub through user data), I’m going to keep this site and my socials as clean as I can without reducing the quality of content I am creating for you and create a special link within each JOURNAL page only viewable to DISCIPLE members and higher for the more hardcore artworks. Over time, once these JOURNAL posts become older and more outdated, I will take these folders offline.
What this means is that somewhat of a good news, future numbered CARTE DU JOUR UPDATES will just be pure story and art driven content. feel more like complete stand-alone content much closer to the works found at the SHOP or like updates 326, 327 & 328 without the preamble.
In summary:
JOURNALS = news, announcements, sharing of artworks that are sketches, variations, safe-for-work flavor art or works in progress viewable while logged in with an active DISCIPLE or higher account.
CARTE DU JOUR UPDATES = emailed newsletters with short stories and fully complete artworks.
With this, I have continued the moratorium for expirations for another couple of weeks, but I will be resuming regular service soon including the ZODIAC commission tier patrons who have been very patient with me.

I have concurrent multiple projects open and ongoing, along with some older ones still left open-ended which I will work on from time to time. The following what I’ve been working on of its progress which I can share for this post. Many of these have been born from the seeds from the prompts of my higher ZODIAC tiered patrons. There are others too not on this list which will be shared for future JOURNALS. There’s a brief description of each project and they’ll will remain mostly the same, while ever evolving the deeper I get into the projects and have better ideas.

DOOMED RAIDER
A trio of female adventurers head into the jungles of Mexico days before the Great American Eclipse of 2024 in search for a lost temple and the legendary city of Aztlan only to find their mission thwarted by a mysterious Aztec death cult.
BIZARRE BAZAAR: JAPAN
Multiple girls from around the globe, European, Asian, and more, who has grappled with the emptiness of life, has offered themselves up to a mysterious cult who has offered them a once in a lifetime opportunity to transition and be remembered forever. A French boyfriend searching for his friend on whom he has a crush, a young troubled French girl looking for a deeper meaning in life, hoping to save her from depression. A shy Chinese girl, hopeless and about to end it all in Aokigahara, the Suicide Forest, grappling with dark thoughts and an obsessive attachment to one of the other girls who had transitioned. A pair of girls, one from Vietnam, another from South Korea, who struggles with the pressure of keeping up with the pressures of being mildly successful influencers who finally buckled under the pressure with a promise of a new makeover and a revival of their careers, to be remembered forever in a different way to a secret and powerful audience of the dark web. Illicit auctions, surreal bazaars, a secret festival that had existed throughout the ages, moving from country to country and this time, like the World’s Fair and the Olympics, a Bizarre Bazaar catering to the fantasies of decadent men in masks who love to play. This time, the host: Japan.
LOBSTER’S BALL: AQUARIUM
A nondescript cargo ship with its call sign, LOBSTER’S BALL, sails through the oceans containing repurposed shipping containers that aren’t just like any other for they contain instruments of indescribable horrors. With each port of call, it brings death and banquets. Dinners where its patrons could view their exquisite meals trapped in glass boxes, like picking live seafood out of a restaurant aquarium.
LOBSTER’S BALL: AGONY OF DEFEAT
This time, the dreaded cargo ship makes its port of call in New Orleans. Masquerades. Mardi Gras. Processions. Voodoo. A celebrated collegiate gymnast who has drawn the ire of the sports commission executives with dark appetites. But first, they would like to play a game. You could call it, staying with the seafood theme, a kind of a “Squid Game”.
PAINTED BIRD IN LOST CARCOSA
An accountant finds some financial discrepancies within her corporation and as a reward, is invited by her higher ups to a corporate event in a secluded rural part of Southeastern US. In the end, she finds herself caught in a conspiracy of hidden secret societies of the Old World who has a hobby of hunting the most beautiful game.
MOVEABLE FEAST: XANADU
A real estate agent hoping to land the sale of her lifetime, a once beloved mall in her neighborhood. Many memories were formed in the old abandoned megaplex, a sad tale of times past, the golden age of the 90’s and the 00’s of happier times where the young go out to eat, buy and play. Like old VHS tapes and Atari game consoles, it too has gone out of style. This time, the mall will embed within its place a terrible and indelible memory of its own, a fleeting and temporary reverie, before burying all its secrets, destroying all evidence of horrific ritual acts that had consecrated the ground of this condemned building for its new dark purpose for the Consortium.
